(D.JORDAN) – It’s official. The Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise announced the return of Oktoberfest. Simi Valley’s largest Food and Beer Festival is confirmed for another year – October 8, 2022 at Lemon Park, right next to City Hall.
Organizers say, “It doesn’t matter if you want to wear your lederhosen or your Levi’s. You can’t miss one of the most unique and exclusive Oktoberfests in all of Southern California.”
One highlight of the event is, your beer is free with admission! That’s right, every general admission ticket covers the cost of beer – all the beer you can drink. This offer includes the German beers, Stella Artois and a variety of Budweiser products. Additionally, tequila margaritas and several varieties of wine will be available for purchase.
Also, certain corporate sponsors will have access to private cabanas and tents, costumed beer servers, front stage passes and a complimentary snack cart.
The German band Hammerstein Musik Bavaria will be performing at the event.
Last year’s 2021 program attracted a fun mix of people from Simi Valley, Ventura County and residents from throughout Southern California.
Festival details and information is available now on the Simi Oktoberfest website: https://simioktoberfest.com/
The program is described as “An epic festival of German music, games, food & BEER!”
Rotary Club representatives noted, several exciting new surprises will be released in the days ahead.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars, get your tickets and start practicing your stein holding. Simi Valley Oktoberfest looks to be another fantastic event. Prost!
