(CLAIR) – The ‘Dream It Be It’ Coffee Talk Quarterly Series is back with an important discussion about skills for female empowerment.
On February 11th, Speaker Natalie Bologna, M.S., LMFT will be discussing teen empowerment in a positive, safe, and open setting. Women and girls from the area are invited to join for lunch and open conversation at the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District Activity Center in Simi Valley. This event is sponsored by Soroptimist International of Simi Valley and runs from 11:00am – 1:00pm.
As a licensed marriage and family therapist, Natalie Bologna understands the struggles that individuals face in their daily lives. Whether it be a “transition,” a “depression,” or an “existential crisis,” she believes that no one should have to feel pain alone. She believes that through guidance and support, individuals can learn to move through difficult times and grow from them.
During her discussion, Bologna will focus on teen empowerment and helping teens to understand that they are not alone in their pain and fear. She will provide a positive, safe, and open setting where young people can feel comfortable discussing their struggles. She will talk about how to manifest the life and connection they want for themselves.
This event is an opportunity for teens to gain insight and understanding into the unique situations they face and to learn about tools and strategies that can help them to move through difficult times.
Bologna provides the guidance and support teens need to “turn their beasts into their best friends,” and to be in the driver’s seat of their own lives.
The event is sponsored by Soroptimist International of Simi Valley, which is a global volunteer organization that works to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. The organization is dedicated to providing support and resources to empower women and girls to reach their full potential and to create a better world for all.
The Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District Activity Center is located on 4201 Guardian Street in Simi Valley and the event will be held Feb 11, from 11:00am-1:00pm.
