(CLAIR) – The Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise announced today, the last few tickets to Kareyucky (https://www.kareyucky.com/) are available. This event is described as the most outrageous karaoke singing competition of the year. It’s a fundraiser, and promises to be unlike anything you have ever heard…or may ever want to hear.
Dorina Timbol of For The Need Foundation and Anni Sumby of The Simi Samaritan Center are the masterminds behind the event. They have added a unique twist to karaoke by, instead of just singing, participants can pay their way out of having to perform on stage.
But that’s not all. The Kareyucky event will be held at The Junkyard restaurant’s garage venue with a super secret speakeasy element, meaning you will need a special password to get in. This exclusive event is set to take place on February 4th and promises to be a night to remember…or forget.
The Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise is putting on this event to raise money for community service projects, homeless outreach, and its youth education programs.
“This is the event where people are allowed to sing badly, for a greater good, a ‘bad for good’ event,” Timbol said.
Some of the most famous names in Simi Valley are rumored to be participating in the event, but those names will not be released and unfortunately, no phones or cameras will be allowed at the event either.
“Your curiosity can only be satisfied by registering to receive one of the 50 very exclusive tickets and knowing the secret password to get in,” Timbol said.
“To enjoy this evening of laughter, music and fun, you’ve gotta act fast. The tickets are almost gone,” Timbol said.
