(CLAIR) – The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center Foundation just announced a very special charity wine tasting. The event, which will take place on March 23, 2023, from 5:30 – 7:00 pm at the Cultural Arts Center, promises to be an unforgettable experience for local wine lovers.
To start, the program features Karen and Gary Stewart, co-owners of Four Brix Winery, a local winery known for its delicious wines and rich history. The Stewarts are passionate about sharing their knowledge of winemaking with the community, and they will guide guests through a historical tasting of their favorites. Attendees will have the chance to learn about the winemaking process and the history of Four Brix Winery.
The Stewart’s adventure into wine making began in 2008 when they started with a group of close friends and a crazy idea to open a winery. Their passion for wine has only grown since then, and in 2011, they announced their winery and opened a tasting room to the public.
The evening fundraiser promises to be a delightful one as Gary Stewart regales guests with stories of his winemaking skills and takes them through several flights of the winery’s most interesting and mysterious flavors. The event offers a chance to experience the fruits of the local wine industry and learn about the rich history of winemaking in the area.
Tickets for the event are priced at $45 and include charcuterie boxes for each guest. Vegan charcuterie box options are also available. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase full bottles of the various wines at the conclusion of the event, with proceeds going to benefit the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center Foundation.
The Foundation provides financial support to the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, which offers high quality theater and arts programming for Simi Valley and surrounding communities. Live performances showcase local talent and entertainment for audiences of all ages.
The Board of the Foundation comprises dedicated community volunteers with a passion for supporting the arts. Members and sponsors of the Foundation are individuals, businesses, and organizations that believe in the importance of a Simi Valley arts facility and how art has the ability to enhance the quality of life within our community.
The evening of wine tasting promises to be a festive get-together of fun, laughter and friendship. The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center Foundation welcomes all wine enthusiasts to attend.
SVCACF Board Member, Jo Ann Poole said, “We invite everyone to come and experience the rich history and winemaking passion that is at the heart of our Simi Valley community.”
