(CLAIR) – The second annual Happy Face Music Festival is returning to Simi Valley! This year’s homage to the beloved local landmark, Happy Face Hill, is featuring live performances, delicious food from local vendors, and exciting activities for all ages.
The Happy Face Festival takes place Saturday May 27 over Memorial Day Weekend at Rancho Santa Susana Community Park. Tickets for the event start at $25 and can be purchased at the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce or online at: https://happyfacemusicfest.com/
Set against the backdrop of the picturesque Rancho Santa Susana Community Park, this year’s musical theme celebrates the spirit of the 1980s.
The festival lineup includes popular 80s tribute band The Spazmatics, as well as other amazing performers like Barry Keenan The Invisible Poet Kings, The Yacht Groove, Fabba, and Kelly’s Lot. In addition to the live music, attendees can enjoy an array of exciting activities, games, food from the area’s best food truck vendors, and plenty of sunshine.
Families will be pleased to know that children under 16 can attend the festival for free, making it an affordable entertainment option for everyone. The festival also offers a range of ticket packages, including General Admission, a Party Pass that includes 5 beer tickets and an exclusive VIP Access Pass, which includes unlimited beer and other beverages.
Organized by a team of dedicated volunteers and community members, the Happy Face Music Festival is not only a celebration of music and fun but also a charitable event. All proceeds from the festival will be donated to local charities, showcasing the community’s commitment to giving back.
As the countdown to the festival begins, organizers have hinted at special surprises and exclusive giveaways for attendees to look forward to. Festival-goers are encouraged to share their excitement on social media using the hashtag #HappyFaceMusicFestival.
This year’s event chairman, Dr. Steve Pietrolungo is enthusiastic and excited about the event saying, “We can’t wait to see everyone come together to celebrate music, nostalgia, and the spirit of our beloved Happy Face Hill.”
He said his goal is to create a memorable experience for the entire community while giving back to local charities.
