Early Survey Opens for Simi Valley School Board Preferences
(CLAIR | Simi Valley, CA) – Simi Valley residents now have the opportunity to voice their preferences for the upcoming school board elections through a newly opened survey. This non-scientific poll aims to gauge the general sentiment of Clair.ID readers regarding the candidates for two crucial areas in the Simi Valley Unified School District.
The survey includes the following candidates:
- Area A: Mike James vs. Dorina Timbol
- Area C: Sofya Bagdasaryan vs. Ron Resnick
The survey is designed to provide a snapshot of public opinion and is open to all residents of Simi Valley. While it is not an official poll, the results will offer insight into the community’s leanings as the election approaches.
The results of the poll are scheduled to be released on or about Friday, June 14. Residents are encouraged to participate and make their voices heard regarding the leadership and future direction of the Simi Valley Unified School District.

I have known Dorina Timbol for over 30 years. As the previous CEO and Founder of Platinum Sports Center, Dorina’s passion to serve our youth and the Simi Valley community started many years ago. To this day, Dorina continues her commitment to the serving our youth through her involvement
in multiple programs such as Rotary International, RYLA, YES! (Youth Empowerment Summit), as well as serving as a Board Member for the Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley. In addition, Dorina is a mother and raised both of her kids in Simi Valley, so she knows the school system well. She also served as the Executive Director for a very successful non-profit helping children in need. Dorina is the clear choice, and she will get things done!
