(CLAIR | Simi Valley, CA) – Christmas is a season of magic, laughter, and those stories we tell year after year—the ones that capture the spirit of the holidays, often in the most unexpected ways. Maybe it’s the time you braved a ladder in the pouring rain to finish hanging the Christmas lights. Perhaps the neighbor who saved Christmas with an act of kindness, or the hilarious mishap that actually made your family closer than ever.
This year, Clair.ID wants to celebrate those stories—the real, heartfelt, and joyful moments that make Christmas in Simi Valley so special. We’re inviting you, our neighbors, to share your most fun, heartwarming, or unforgettable Christmas story for a chance to be featured as the headline on Clair.ID’s front page this Christmas morning.
Imagine waking up on December 25th to see your story being read and shared by friends, neighbors, and families all across the city. It’s your chance to spread a little holiday cheer and remind everyone what makes this season—and our community—so special.
The best stories don’t come from books or movies—they come from real people, real experiences, and real moments of joy, kindness, and laughter.
It could be the year the dog ripped open all of the presents while everyone was still asleep. Maybe it’s the Christmas when a neighbor surprised you with homemade tamales, or, perhaps, one of those surprise snowstorms Simi sees once every decade.
Your story doesn’t have to be perfect or polished—it just needs to be yours.
How to Participate
It’s simple:
- Write your story (300–800 words). Tell it in your voice—whether funny, touching, or nostalgic.
