(CLAIR | Simi Valley, CA) — Non-profit organizations in Simi Valley have a new opportunity to fund their community-focused projects. The City of Simi Valley is now accepting applications for its 2025 Community Projects Grant (CPG) Program. The deadline to apply is January 30, 2025.
Funded through an agreement with Waste Management, the program allocates up to $150,000 annually to support local non-profits. The goal is simple: to back initiatives that directly benefit Simi Valley residents and enhance the community.
“The grant program is a great way for us to invest in local non-profits that are doing meaningful work,” said Cynthia McCullough, the City’s Senior Management Analyst. “Whether it’s organizing events or launching projects, these grants provide a chance for organizations to bring their ideas to life.”
Non-profits with a 501(c)(3) status are encouraged to apply if they have plans for programs or events scheduled for 2025. Applications will go through a public review process in April and May, overseen by the CPG Review Committee. The City Council will make the final decision on funding.
