Simi Valley Oktoberfest Brings a Taste of Bavaria Back to Lemon Park
(CLAIR | Simi Valley, CA) — There are plenty of Oktoberfest events across Southern California. But only one combines true Bavarian tradition with tight planning, a pristine park setting, and a tent big enough to feel like Munich itself. That’s Simi Valley Oktoberfest—returning Saturday, October 4, 2025—to Lemon Park, one of the most beautiful, well-kept parks in Ventura County.

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise, this is more than just a beer festival. It’s a fully immersive, one-day celebration designed with intention. The layout is organized. The atmosphere is safe and clean. And the vibe? Pure joy. From the music and dancing to the steins and sausages, it’s the closest thing Southern California has to a true Oktoberfest.
A Full Festival Packed Into One Great Day
This isn’t a weekend-long party. It’s one dance-packed Saturday—from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Seven hours of beer, music, food, and nonstop energy, all under one massive tent. The crowd shows up early, and the fun kicks off fast.

General admission is just $25. VIP tickets run $125 and include unlimited beer refills, food vouchers, wine tasting, private cabanas and quieter space and shade near the main tent. For larger groups, reserved tables for 10 are available for $2,500.
At the Heart of It All: The Tent
The main beer tent is where the action happens. It’s big, it’s loud, and it’s open to everyone with a general admission ticket. No extra charge for seating. You’ll find long rows of tables filled with people singing, clapping, and toasting strangers like old friends.
Leading the music again this year is Hammerstein Musik Bavaria, a four-piece band that mixes German folk, polka, and crowd-pleasing rock. It’s upbeat, it’s funny, and it gets people dancing. You don’t have to know the words—you just have to be willing to raise your glass and join in.

Classic Food. Cold Beer. No Fuss.
The food hits all the traditional notes: grilled bratwurst, soft pretzels, sauerkraut, and fresh strudel, if you’re lucky to get some before it sells out. Vendors keep lines moving and plates full. Beer flows all day—imported German brands like Spaten, a few domestic favorites, and some seltzers too—something cold for every kind of drinker. Wine and non-alcoholic options are also available.
A Beautiful Setting That Makes It Work
Lemon Park (Rancho Tapo Community Park) isn’t just big. It’s clean, walkable, and built for an event like this. There’s real grass, beautiful trees, a large fountain, and space to spread out. Everything feels polished but still personal. Volunteers keep it all running smoothly—from entry to cleanup.
You’ll see moms and dads with their adult children, college friend groups, couples, and solo beer lovers all sharing tables and making the most of the day.
More Than a Party
Yes, it’s a celebration. But it also supports something bigger. Every dollar raised goes to the Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise Charitable Foundation, which funds scholarships, health programs, food drives, and humanitarian projects both locally and around the world.
So while you’re enjoying the music and the beer, you’re also giving back to the community.
