(CLAIR | Simi Valley, CA) — When it comes to workplace safety, even small mistakes can cost employers big. That’s the focus of a free seminar in Simi Valley this month, where business leaders will learn the “Top 10 OSHA Violations Every Employer Should Know.”
The Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce and Exact Staff are partnering to present the session on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025. The program will run from noon to 1 p.m. at the chamber offices, 40 W. Cochran St., Suite 100. Employers, managers and safety professionals are encouraged to attend. Seating is limited and RSVP is required.
The seminar will be led by Lorraine Medina, National Safety Director at Exact Staff, Inc. Medina has more than two decades of experience in workplace safety and serves on the ASA/OSHA National Employee Safety Committee, which helps shape safety standards across the staffing industry.
“This is an invaluable opportunity to learn from one of the nation’s leading voices in workplace safety,” Exact Staff said in a statement.
Anthony Angelini, director of tourism and government affairs for the chamber, said bringing the event to Simi Valley has been a priority. “I have seen businesses fall into the trap and end up owing thousands for minor violations,” Angelini said. “This seminar is extremely important.”
The event is free. Pizza will be provided.
RSVPs can be sent to Camille Cordova at [email protected]. Attendees with questions they prefer to submit anonymously may email them in advance to Medina at [email protected].
