Simi Valley Residents Can Now Volunteer at Oktoberfest 2025
(CLAIR | Simi Valley, CA) — Over the past five years, Simi Oktoberfest has quickly become one of our city’s biggest fall traditions. Thousands gather every year to enjoy the music, the German food, and the community spirit. But in 2025, there’s a brand-new twist: for the first time, organizers are inviting a small group of local residents to volunteer and actually help run the event.
The event committee says they’re opening the gates to a few more volunteers because this year’s Oktoberfest is expected to be the biggest yet. The Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise is also teaming up with other local organizations to make sure the event runs smoothly. And now, anyone in Simi Valley who’s 21 or older has the chance to join the action—not just as a guest, but as part of the crew.

As positions open, they’ll start reaching out to assign shifts. Every effort will be made to match volunteers with roles that fit their availability and preferences. What Volunteers Will Do
Volunteers won’t be serving beer, but they’ll be at the heart of everything else.
Roles include:
- Setting up tables and equipment in the morning
- Decorating the main beer tent before the gates open
- Greeting guests and checking IDs at the entrance
- Supporting local vendors during the rush
- Jumping in as “floaters” wherever extra hands are needed
- Helping with clean-up so the festival grounds stay safe and welcoming
It’s a chance to work side by side with the Rotary Club and other community members, building connections while helping pull off one of the valley’s biggest events.
