Friday 9/26: Win Tickets, Beer Steins and Swag at the Next Simi Oktoberfest Intersection Takeover
(CLAIR | Simi Valley, CA) — Free Oktoberfest tickets, beer steins, and T-shirts are on the line at the next Street Team takeover in Simi Valley. Prizes will go to the best costumes, the most enthusiastic participants, and a few other standout categories—but only those who pre-register are eligible to win.
The event takes place on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 4pm at the corner of Sycamore and Cochran, in front of Cronies. If you’re fun, you’re invited to join the Oktoberfest Street Team for an afternoon of polka dancing, community spirit, laughter, and a preview of the energy Oktoberfest brings to town each year.
The Street Team has already been spotted waving signs on freeway overpasses and at busy intersections, creating plenty of buzz for the festival. This next outing shifts the focus to participation, offering residents the chance to get involved and connect before the main event.
This year’s Oktoberfest is led by Anika Sumby of the Simi Valley Samaritan Center and Dan Rosen, with the event organized by the Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise. The Street Team, they say, is about more than promotion—it’s about building fun friendly vibes that carry into the festival itself.
Dan Rosen said, “We couldn’t wait and decided to get started with some fun now.”
