(CLAIR | Moorpark, CA) — A new kind of golf experience is coming to Moorpark — one that trades fairways and flagsticks for simulators, cold beer, and community. The Park Golf Lounge, an upscale indoor golf and social venue, is set to open in early 2026 at 718 E. Los Angeles Avenue, right next to Lucky Strike and Solid Gold Dance.

The 3,000-square-foot facility promises more than a place to practice. It’s designed as a space where people can gather — to work on their game, grab a drink, or just hang out.
Golf, Beer, and Good Company
At the heart of The Park Golf Lounge are TrackMan simulators, the same advanced systems used by PGA professionals. Players will be able to choose from dozens of famous courses, analyze their swings in real time, or compete in virtual tournaments.
The venue will also include a taproom featuring local craft beer. City planning documents show that The Park has applied for a Type 40 on-sale beer license, which would allow draft service inside the lounge. According to Moorpark city records, the taproom will operate in a 3,634-square-foot commercial space, part of the city’s growing Los Angeles Avenue entertainment corridor.

“We’re creating a space where everyone can play,” said Josh Moskowitz, founder of The Park Golf Lounge. “You don’t have to be a golfer to have a good time here.”
Food options will rotate — some nights will feature food trucks, while others may highlight local restaurant partners. Guests are also welcome to bring their own meals. “We want to keep it flexible and community-driven,” Moskowitz added.
Designed for Events and Everyday Play
The Park Golf Lounge will host private bays for groups and companies, along with a modern event space for parties and celebrations. The team is already planning league nights, closest-to-the-pin contests, and corporate tournaments.

For those serious about their swing, PGA-certified instructors will offer professional lessons with video analysis and data tracking. Memberships will come with perks such as early access to tournaments, exclusive merchandise, and discounted retail.
A special Founder’s Club is open for early members, offering two months free and lifetime recognition as founding supporters.
Local Buzz and Mixed Reactions
When the project was announced on social media, residents responded fast. On the city’s Discover Moorpark page, excitement mixed with a few familiar Ventura County grumbles.
“Awesome! Finally something new to do in Moorpark,” wrote one resident.
Another added, “I was hoping for a Trader Joe’s, but this is still great for the community.”
A Simi Valley commenter summed up a common theme: “This will do very well — I’ve been waiting for a Topgolf-type place closer to home.”
While a few questioned the idea of indoor golf — “Hopefully they offer helmets!” one joked — most saw it as a sign of new energy in Moorpark’s commercial scene.
Economic Boost and Regional Impact
According to the Ventura County Civic Alliance’s 2023 State of the Region Report, Moorpark’s population has hovered around 36,000 in recent years, and the city continues to attract new businesses focused on recreation and dining. The addition of The Park Golf Lounge aligns with local goals to revitalize the city’s eastside business corridor and create more nightlife options.
Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks residents are expected to be regular visitors too. With few indoor golf facilities in Ventura County, The Park Golf Lounge will likely draw from across the region.
A New Kind of Golf Culture
Beyond golf, the lounge aims to become a local hangout. The team behind it hopes the relaxed atmosphere will appeal to everyone — from retirees and weekend duffers to families and young professionals.
“It’s not just about the game,” Moskowitz said. “It’s about bringing people together.”
With its simulators, craft brews, and flexible event spaces, The Park Golf Lounge could be the spark for a new kind of social life in Moorpark — one built around play, not pretense.
If construction stays on track, doors will open in early 2026. Until then, interested residents can visit TheParkGolfLounge.com to join the Founders Club or sign up for updates.
