The stage is set, big acts and bigger opportunities abound at Simi’s cultural hub
(CLAIR | Simi Valley, CA) — The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center is already looking ahead to its 2026 Mainstage season — and the call is out for theater companies and performing arts groups ready to bring their talent to the local stage.
Applications are now open for professionally produced musicals, plays, concerts, and special arts events that match the Center’s reputation for high-quality family entertainment. Production runs can range from one to five consecutive weekends, with concerts and special events booked as one-night or multi-night engagements.

“In Season 2026, the Cultural Arts Center will be beginning our 31st year of providing quality live entertainment for the Ventura and Los Angeles County community,” said Fred Helsel, Community Services Manager for the Center. “Our longevity and success are a direct result of our close artistic partnerships with the local performing arts community. We are excited to be celebrating Season 2026 with those organizations who have helped us to succeed thus far, and always look forward to welcoming new and exciting arts partnerships.”
Coming Soon to the Cultural Arts Center
As the Center prepares for its 31st season, audiences can still catch a packed lineup of shows this fall.
Actors’ Repertory Theatre of Simi brings Shrek The Musical to life from October 11 through November 9, featuring everyone’s favorite ogre, Donkey, and a princess with attitude. The show, based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks film, is full of humor and heart for all ages.
Music fans can look forward to Stevie Ray Visited, a high-energy tribute to blues legend Stevie Ray Vaughan, on October 22. Starring Roby Duron — named “Best Blues Guitar Player” by LA Rock City News — the show brings Vaughan’s spirit back to the stage with hits like “Pride and Joy” and “Texas Flood,” performed by musicians who knew and played with him.
The laughter returns on October 19 with the Center’s Sunday Night Comedy series, a family-friendly showcase featuring some of today’s most popular comedians.
Then, on November 12, powerhouse vocalist Debby Holiday performs The Tina Turner Tribute. Backed by a 10-piece band, Holiday channels the Queen of Rock’s fire and soul — delivering the timeless energy and power of Tina’s greatest hits.
