(CLAIR) – Simi Valley is so not ready for this! Just announced, is a karaoke singing competition unlike anything you have heard. The Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise is proud to present their most outrageous fundraising event of the year. It’s called KareyYucky!
Dorina Timbol of For The Need Foundation and Anni Sumby of The Samaritan Center, the masterminds behind this event, have put a unique twist on karaoke. Instead of just singing, participants can pay their way out of having to perform on stage. But that’s not all, the event will be held at The Junkyard restaurant’s garage with a speakeasy twist, meaning you will need a secret password for entry and only 50 lucky participants will be able to attend.
This exclusive event is set to take place on February 4th. The Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise is hoping to raise around $5,000 for their community service projects, and they’re looking for four $500 sponsors to help them achieve this goal.
The club is also looking forward to Dr. P’s rendition of Shania Twain’s “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” And for those who know Steve Pietrolungo, watching him channel the “Queen of Country Pop” is a priceless experience, worth any amount.
Mark your calendars and save the date for February 4th, and stay tuned for more details as they will be released on a website in the coming days. This is an event you won’t want to miss! Cover your ears and support a great cause with KareyYucky!
